Our academy provides the following services
Learn through play
Dei Spring Academy’s philosophy behind our curriculum is that young children learn best by doing. Learning isn’t just repeating what someone else says; it requires active thinking and experimenting to find out how things work and to learn firsthand about the world in which we live. Dei Spring Academy teachers plan an environment and curriculum that will stimulate your child’s cognitive, physical, social, religious and emotional development.
Dei Spring Academy is both a child care facility and a preschool. From an early age there is an emphasis on learning, whatever the age of your child. A preschool curriculum is offered in the younger and older preschool classes, providing a strong educational foundation that will prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.s
Toys and Games
Dei Spring provides a variety of materials to enhance play and learning in early childhood. Toys that teach (sequencing, numbers, letters, colors); games that enhance social skills (board games, group games); toys that enhance large motor (outdoor play, running, riding, catching, swinging) as well as fine motor development (grasping, pinching, writing, precise finger movements). All aspects of a child’s development are considered important, and our toys and materials reflect this.
Our center provides child care for infants 6 weeks of age up to 5 years.
Love and Care
Our staff members are dedicated to your child’s well-being intellectually, physically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally, as stated in our Philosophy of Teaching. Teaching is more than a career for us, it is a way of life. Thus your child’s welfare is paramount in everything we do at Dei Spring.
Physical activity is very important to early childhood development. Children have boundless energy, and they invest their whole selves in everything they do, moving almost constantly, in play and learning. Children learn best by doing, and large motor (or whole body) movement is very important at this age. We go outside every day that is possible to our outdoor playgrounds; on those days when the weather is not permitting, we provide activities for indoor large motor movement, such as group games and movement challenges.
